To maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace,Classified Med (classifiedmed.com)requires all users to follow the posting rules outlined below when listing medical or mobility equipment.

Failure to comply with these policies may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent restriction from the platform.

Prohibited Posting Activities

The following activities are prohibited on Classified Med:

  • Posting equipment that isnot physically located in the United States or Canadaunless clearly disclosed in the listing.

  • Posting items that areillegal to own, buy, sell, or rentunder federal, state, or local U.S. law or Canadian law.

  • Postingduplicate ads in multiple categories or locations.

  • Posting listings usingmultiple accounts or email addresses to manipulate visibility.

  • Posting advertisements intendedsolely to redirect traffic to another websitewithout offering a specific product or service.

  • Posting ads containingirrelevant keywords or misleading search terms.

  • Posting ads inlanguages other than English or French.

  • Posting ads that containadult, explicit, or inappropriate content.

  • Posting ads that containdefamation, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech.

  • Postinggeneral discussions, opinions, or announcementsthat do not relate to a specific item listing.

  • Posting ads inincorrect categories or with misleading descriptions.

  • Posting items that violatemedical device regulations or prescription requirements.

  • Posting as aprivate seller when you are acting as a business, dealer, or professional reseller.

  • Posting ads that attempt toprofit from public emergencies, natural disasters, health crises, or tragic events.

Medical Equipment Listing Requirements

Because Classified Med focuses on medical and mobility equipment, sellers must ensure that:

  • Listings accurately describe thecondition and functionality of the equipment.

  • Aucuneknown defects or damageare disclosed.

  • Equipment complies with applicableFDA and regulatory requirementswhere applicable.

  • Equipment issafe and suitable for its intended purpose.

Classified Med does not verify equipment condition or regulatory compliance.

Age Requirement

Users must beat least 18 years oldto create listings or conduct transactions on Classified Med.

If a minor wishes to list an item, the listing must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

Listing Removal

Classified Med reserves the right to:

  • Remove any listing that violates our policies

  • Edit or reclassify listings that appear misleading

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate rules

Listings may also be removed if we believe they negatively impact the safety, integrity, or well-being of the Classified Med community.

Compliance With Laws

Users are responsible for ensuring that all listings and transactions comply withall applicable federal, state, and local laws in the United States.

You may not list, buy, sell, or rent items that are illegal or regulated without proper authorization.

By posting a listing, you acknowledge thatyou are solely responsible for legal compliance and the accuracy of your advertisement.

Prohibited Medical Equipment & Devices

To protect users and comply with applicable laws and regulations,Classified Med (classifiedmed.com)prohibits the listing, sale, rental, or promotion of certain medical devices, equipment, and related products.

Listings that violate this policy may be removed without notice, and repeat violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Classified Med reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.

1. Prescription-Only Medical Devices

The following items may require a valid prescription under U.S. law and arenot permitted to be listed unless the seller is legally authorized and compliant with applicable regulations:

  • CPAP machines

  • BiPAP machines

  • Ventilateurs

  • Oxygen concentrators requiring prescription

  • Sleep apnea diagnostic devices

  • Prescription-only monitoring devices

If you are unsure whether your equipment requires a prescription, consult applicable FDA regulations before listing.

2. Medical Oxygen & Compressed Gas Equipment

Listings involving medical oxygen or compressed medical gases are prohibited, including:

  • Oxygen tanks or cylinders

  • Portable oxygen tanks

  • Medical gas refill services

  • Oxygen refill equipment

Due to safety regulations, these items must be handled by licensed providers.

3. Implantable or Surgical Devices

The following items maynotbe listed under any circumstances:

  • Implantable medical devices

  • Pacemakers

  • Surgical implants

  • Internal prosthetics

  • Surgical hardware removed from patients

4. Recalled or Defective Medical Devices

Equipment that has been:

  • Recalled by the manufacturer

  • Recalled by the FDA

  • Identified as defective or unsafe

may not be listed on Classified Med.

Sellers are responsible for verifying that equipment isnot subject to a recall or safety noticebefore posting.

5. Controlled Medical Products

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Prescription medications

  • Controlled substances

  • Medical marijuana products

  • Injectable medications

  • Vaccines

  • Diagnostic test kits requiring medical authorization

6. Counterfeit or Unauthorized Medical Equipment

Listings are prohibited for:

  • Counterfeit medical devices

  • Unauthorized branded medical equipment

  • Equipment that infringes on trademarks or intellectual property

  • Fake or imitation medical products

7. Unsafe or Contaminated Equipment

Equipment that is:

  • Biohazard contaminated

  • Not properly cleaned or sanitized

  • Known to be unsafe or non-functional

must not be listed.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring equipment isclean, safe, and accurately described.

8. Hazardous Medical Waste

The following may never be listed:

  • Used needles or sharps

  • Biohazard waste

  • Used surgical supplies

  • Medical waste materials

These items must be disposed of according to regulated medical waste procedures.

9. Services Requiring Licensed Medical Professionals

Classified Med does not allow listings for services requiring licensed medical practice, including:

  • Medical diagnosis services

  • Medical treatment services

  • Prescription issuance

  • Medical procedures

10. Fraudulent or Misleading Listings

Listings are prohibited if they:

  • Misrepresent medical capabilities

  • Claim unproven medical cures or treatments

  • Provide false medical claims

  • Mislead users regarding equipment condition

11. Platform Discretion

Classified Med may remove listings or restrict accounts if we believe content:

  • Violates applicable laws

  • Poses a safety risk

  • Misleads users

  • Damages the integrity of the marketplace

12. User Responsibility

By posting an item on Classified Med, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Your listing does not violate FDA, state, or federal rules

  • Your equipment is accurately described

Classified Med does not verify compliance and assumes no liability for user listings.
